About Us
Mind, Body, Money.
A holistic approach to your financial freedom.
At Finance Therapy, we believe money is never just about money.
Behind every financial decision are stories, emotions, cultural expectations, survival instincts, and lived experiences that shape how we earn, spend, save, invest, build, and value ourselves.
We never learnt how to make good decisions through emotional highs and lows.
We were never taught how to manage our money to reach our goals.
And we never understood how to regulate our nervous systems.
Finance Therapy was created to bridge the gap between financial and mental wellbeing. We help people build healthier relationships with money through a trauma-informed, compassionate, and practical approach that goes beyond just financial education.
Our work enables people to finally get out of their own way to take action, build wealth, make better business decisions, and reduce stress at home and in the workplace.
The Approach
Understanding the beliefs, scripts, and thought patterns that shape our financial decisions. Identifying unconscious money narratives inherited from society, family, culture and systems - often absorbed long before we were taught about money.
Mind
Body
Money
Recognising how financial stress lives in our bodies. Using somatic practices to regulate nervous system responses to money anxiety and build resilience. So you are better prepared to handle any challenge, negotiation or decision that comes your way.
Practical financial education and tools that honor both emotional wellbeing and financial goals. Building sustainable money habits rooted in self-awareness, helping you live authentically and in line with your true value systems.
Our Core Beliefs
The taboo around money talk perpetuates inequality and isolation. Creating safe spaces for honest money conversations is essential for our individual and collective wellbeing.
Talking money is normal
Financial wellbeing is holistic
True financial health includes emotional regulation, supportive relationships, meaningful work, and alignment between values and spending, not just a healthy bank balance. When we understand the deeper stories behind our financial behaviours, we create healthier habits, stronger boundaries, and more sustainable futures.
Financial stress is not a personal failing
Systemic issues create financial insecurity. While we live, learn and work within these systems, we can develop tools to navigate them with more awareness and less shame and fear.
You can build wealth without sacrificing yourself
Success should not come at the cost of your mental health, relationships, or sense of self. No matter your bank balance, you deserve to feel good about how you earn, save, invest and spend. Your background, identity, values, and lived experiences matter. Financial education and advice should reflect the reality of your life - not someone else’s.
Change happens in community
While individual work is important, lasting transformation happens when we share experiences, challenge norms together, and build collective financial literacy.
